[[OMG!!! I've been gone for sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long!!! Sowwy!!]]
NightStar laughed. Woops, Storm is gone! She giggled.
She knew Cresent was tired and wanted to go home. After Cresent had spilled the story she gazed at her sternly. -Why'd you spill!!- She sent through telepathy.
Look, just come with us, ok? We've had enough trouble today, without you hopping in and holding us up. She said to the outlanders, mainly Quartz.

Quartz listened silently as the mare explained their predicament, and nodded slightly, frowning in thought. A pirate, hm? Seems like she'd heard of them, heard of ponies having run-ins with them... didn't mean she definitely WAS one, though. Ponies tended to make up titles when they wanted them out of their way. Still, she reasoned, she had no reason to believe they were lying; might as well follow them to town. They'd need a place to sleep later, anyway.
"Very well. We will accompany you into town." She said firmly, glancing back at her trio, and began to follow the islanders.
Aloe glared at the mare, but followed obediently. A bit snippy, but Quartz's tone was bearing no argument. Might as well follow and be 'good'. Lili and Rainbow Sprinkles followed as well-- nervous, but following all the same.

"Look, just come with us, ok? We've had enough trouble today, without you hopping in and holding us up." NightStar said to the outlanders, mainly Quartz.
Meris glanced at her. "Easy princess." he said with a smile. Musn't let her get all worked up.
Redbow just rolled his eyes as he stood in the back, the pirate wench still out draped over him. He would so rather kill her right now than carry her. But they needed to extract information from her first.
"Very well. We will accompany you into town." She said firmly, glancing back at her trio, and began to follow the islanders.
Meris nodded in agreement, his body tense and flexed. Finally, they could get this show on the road. He glanced at the outlanders. "Very well." he said, dryly. He looked at NightStar. "Princess, you can lead the way." He looked at Crescent Moon. "You should go ahead with your sister." His purple eyes came back on the outlanders. "You three will follow me." he commanded, his ears still layed back. He did not trust these ponies. Still, he had to get everyone moving. He called back to his brother. "Redbow, you follow them!" He looked at everyone, but mainly at The four new ponies. "Sound good to all of you?"

Crescent Moon nodded. All right. The little princess ran up to walk by her sister's side. She closed her eyes slightly as she walked, thinking about her brothers and where they were right now. Then she opened them and looked back at the outlanders curiously, wondering if all outlanders were as stubborn as them. They had reason though.

Quartz's eyes were like flinty ice as she stared at NightStar, her eyes slitted with some hidden emotion -- anger? hatred? stomach cramps? -- but she gave a terse nod, falling into line. She would obey... for now. For as long as it served her purposes, she could follow these ponies, to wherever they were going.
"'Sound good'?'" Aloe snapped, his ears flicking flat against his head as he scowled darkly at Meris. "How do you THINK it sounds, you d**n dirty--"
"It's fine." Lili interrupted in her soft voice, a firm hoof on her brother's shoulder silencing him for the moment. He turned to glower at her, and the pair hissed under their breath for a moment. What was said was unclear, but the pair fell into line behind Quartz, following their new 'friends' further inland.
Rainbow Sprinkles, uncomfortable with the open hostility, flicked her ears back and forth slightly, and followed behind the glittery sibs, bringing up the rear of their little 'outlander trail hike' across the sand. Hopefully things would get better soon, since it didn't seem likely they could get worse!!

Nightstar rolled her eyes geez, i'm always first, what is this, a parade she hissed under her breath. Shae walked slowly inland, kicking an occasional stone waving to an occasional pony walking towards the village.
"'Sound good'?'" Aloe snapped, his ears flicking flat against his head as he scowled darkly at Meris. "How do you THINK it sounds, you d**n dirty--"
The stress of the day made Nightstar hot-tempered. Oh come on, do you outlanders ever shut up!!! she cried, letting out a long, frustrated sigh. She whipped round to look Aloe in the eye. She opened her mouth to say something but then caught hold of herself and counted to ten. 1, 2, 3, her mom taught her that trick, 4, 5, 6, worked every time 7, 8, 9, 10. She turned around again and continud walking.

Crescent Moon listened to her sister complaining. Its because your oldest. She replied, looking back shiftily at the outlanders. Islanders didn't normally trust those from the outlands, they were normally content to stay on the island however stormy it got. Well, there hadn't been a storm since Storm 'woke up', she thought. Night Star soon got stressed with the outlanders, and Crescent winced as her big sister whirled angrily and kept walking. She just hoped that Meris and Redbow could sort out the outlander's tempers, while she sorted out her sister's.

Nightstar turned her head and scowled at her sister. No-one asked you. she spat If all of you are just going to continue giving me a headache I'm going back to the castle. You can deal with the out landers yourself. She turned and jumped into the air. Her wings unfolded and she flapped them to bring her higher into the air. She headed towards the castle at full speed.

Oh great! Meris and Redbow saw Night Star leave. That was not the plan. Meris gave an exasperated sigh. "Sisters.." he growled to himself. Now he had to re-arrange everyone. He couldn't have such a young filly in the front now. He needed Night Star. Too bad she was too hot-headed to be of any use. He glanced back at Redbow. Kinda like that nutcase. His ears laying back, he looked back at the outlanders. "You four follow me and her." He looked at Redbow. "And you make sure there is no funny business going on."
Redbow shifted the body on his back, giving a sly grin to all of them. "No problem." He stepped forward. "Let's go!"

Crescent Moon was generally shocked at her sister's words. She'd only spoken the truth, and not said it in a mean way or anything. Her sister promptly flew off in the direction of the castle. Great. The young filly had literally just arrived on the island, discovered she was actually the 'lost' princess with two missing brothers (who were now found thankfully) and then been kidnapped by pirates. Thankfully she knew where the castle was, so they weren't entirely doomed.

[[Hey guys! Sorry for the looong break between posting; I've had a lot of school stuff to get ready for. XP But now my biiiig concert is over, and I can post more between essays and finals! ;D Sorry to hold you up! You are always welcome to post around me in the future; I'd hate to hold everyone up. ^_^; ]]
Aloe reared slightly onto his hind legs as Nightstar cried out at him, wanting to rear and paw at her furiously, but with Lili's near-tackling shoves on his shoulder, he was forced back to the ground.
"Aloe! Knock it OFF!" She whispered, her ears back flat against her head in fear. "We don't want to get them any angrier at us! They already think we're criminals, or pirates, or -- !!!" She whispered pleadingly, her voice rising softly in plaintative fear.
"Fine." He whuffed gruffly, although when he reached over to lay his muzzle against his sister's cheek, his touches were gentle. "Don't worry. I'll keep an eye on ya." He said softly, his eyes half-lidded as he tried to reassure her.
His eyes narrowed at Meris and Redbow distrustfully, but as he was busy dealing with his snuggly little sister, he made no move towards either of them except to follow quietly.
"So. What are we going to do at the castle, precisely?" Quartz said forcefully, to no one in particular. There was no way she'd follow them if all their intentions were to lock her up, too!

Meris walked with Crescent Moon, his ears perked and swiveling in all directions. He knew she knew the way. He just had to keep her safe and listen for trouble in and out beyond their line. He was glad when one of the girls calmed the male down. He was really getting tired of fights by now. He gave a sigh and almost a yawn. He just wanted to deliver these pirate fools to the castle dungeon and be done with them. He glanced back at Redbow without turning his head. He was the last in line watching their prisoners like a hungry hawk. Anything any of them did would be caught by his brother....if they dared to do it, that is.
"So. What are we going to do at the castle, precisely?"
Meris' ears pinned slightly. Why couldn't she be quiet? He gave another sigh, picking up the pace. "We'll figure it out when we get there." he said, a bit curtly.
Redbow shifted the pony on his back and laughed a bit. "If you end up being pirates...." he trailed of with a snicker.
Meris rolled his eyes and kept going following the young princess.

The pegasus rolled her eyes mentally. She could now understand her sister's frustration - why couldn't these outlanders just hush and come? Why were there questions at every corner? Mind you, Redbow's comment was a pretty good one. It did make her smile. Crescent Moon unfolded her wings and flapped them a couple of times, trying to stop the cramp she could feel creeping into them. She'd had them folded in for a while, so she guessed it was her fault. Whats more, her tiara went down with the ship - her mother was going to kill her!
