(cont. from Sew's Cottage)
The orange mare left her home and walked down the streets. She kept walking and walking, she had a lot of energy in her and the weather was very nice that night, and plus her mother hasn't returned home, so she took a long walk to go look for her.

Walking away from the Castle, Magic Hat headed home. She was hoping her daughter was at home, she didn't want her to get into any sort of trouble. If she did, Magic would be horrified. But she didn't want to think of that. She shook her head, thinking that nothing bad will happen. So why should she worry?
~*~*~*~
Meanwhile, Sew and So kept walking, in search for her mother. She looked in every direction, but never saw her. Where could she be? She thought. She was hoping that wherever she was, that she was alright. She didn't want her mother to get into any danger. Then again, her mother did know magic very well, and she could probably use it in any danger she got herself into. So Sew didn't worry much.
~*~*~*~
Magic Hat kept walking. She wondered what Sew and So was up to. Was she sleeping by now? If so, Magic didn't want to make too much noise when she got home, or she might wake her daughter up. She laughed a bit and shook her head. She worried too much of Sew and So. The mare is old enough to worry about herself. But Magic was her mother, and that's what mothers are made to do. They always worry for their young, no matter how old they are.
She then noticed something in the distance. It looked orangish. It must've been her daughter! But what was she doing outside? Magic Hat tilted her head slightly. Well, she could ask her about it later. She ran over to her. She then reached her. She started saying, "Sew and S--"
But the orange thing wasn't her daughter. It was a tiger! Magic Hat's eyes widened as the tiger stared at her, thinking of her as a midnight snack. The white pony gulped, and thought, What should I do? Should I use magic? Should I run away? She then remembered a certain spell that would help. She stood up, closed her eyes, and chanted these words:
Hidoki Unmei Kodoka nutsori Tobira Kashou Anutsa Anata Aitai!
And with that, a glowing purple ball formed in front of her. She held up her front hooves as the ball floated towards them. She then looked into it, and slowly, her eyes started glowing a yellowish color. They became brighter and brighter, and suddenly, yellow beams shot out of her eyes, and into the glowing purple ball. The ball became larger, and it moved towards the tiger, it then exploded, causing the tiger to grow smaller. Magic Hat giggled as she looked at the little tiger. She picked it up and pet it. "Look how cute you are. Now, there's no need to eat ponies." She wondered if they should keep it as a pet. She did think it was very cute, and since it was harmless, and would stay that size for the rest of it's life, she thought it was a good idea! So she kept walking, holding the tiger in one arm, and walking with her other three. She headed home.

Meanwhile, Sew and So kept walking. She wondered what her mother was up to. She was probably doing some magic trick somewhere, or she was exploring somewhere. Wherever she was, she was sure to be doing magic...
~*~*~*~
The white mare walked further and further, still carrying the little tiger. The animal was being a bit squirmy, but Magic Hat had a hold of him. She continued walking, and she spotted another orangeish thing ahead. Was it another tiger? Or was it her daughter? There was only one way to find out....
Magic Hat walked a bit faster towards the orange blob. She got a clearer view of it, and it looked like there was a mix of pink and purple, as well. Could it be?
~*~*~*~
Sew and So then saw a whiteish blob up ahead. She wondered if that could be her mother. She stood there, trying to make out what it was. It was coming closer and closer to her.......
~*~*~*~
Magic kept walking and walking, and finally reached the orange thing. It was her daughter after all!! Magic Hat grinned widely. "My sweet Sew and So! Thank goodness I found you! But, what are you doing out here? Why aren't you at home?"
Sew and So smiled to her mom and hugged her. "I'm glad to find you, as well! I went looking for you!" She felt a ton of joy filling her inside. She loved her mother dearly, and got worried whenever her mother went out. She then noticed the small tiger that she was carrying. "Ah, mom, what is that you have there?"
The white pony giggled. "This is a small tiger. It was a lot bigger, but luckily, I used a spell to make him smaller, and he'll be that way permanently! I thought he'd make a great pet!!"
But Sew and So wasn't too fond of "wild animals" as pets. She worried too much about these kinds of things. But she forced a smile. "That's.....great." She didn't want to disappoint her mother.
"Glad you think so! I haven't thought of a name for him, yet. But perhaps you could help!! Let's head home!" Magic said enthusiastically.
"Sure thing....." Sew said with a smile. And the two walked home.
