Pak smiled brightly, and nodded to Hummingbird cheerfully. "Of course we'll help you look! We know this island like the backs of our hooves, no one can find missing sailors like we can!" He chirped, his wings fluttering in excitement. Yay for MORE adventure, and saving ponies! He beamed at Zelos as well, snuggling down into his blankets in happiness. Yay, everything was working out!
Vio nodded in agreement, folding his legs under himself more comfortably. "Indeed. We are more than happy to help you look for your friends; perhaps we should begin tomorrow, as it is rather late in the day already?"
"And we would not want to tire our guests." Moondrop spoke softly, but sincerely. Honestly, even if they WERE sneaky and probably lying, it didn't mean he wanted to hurt them or tire them out purposefully.
"Yes, quite! So, we should spend the rest of the day settling in, and perhaps find some dinner before we bed down for the night, right?" Vio said crisply, his wings fanning as his two friends nodded.

Zelos had to look away. He had found himself staring again. Geez! What was wrong with him. His ears layed back as he got a little miffed at himself. A yawn soon forced itself and he realized the little wingers were right. It was getting late and settling in would be the best thing to do now. "Yeah, I think we should begin tomorrow. Tonight we find food and sleep."He said wearily, looking over at his comrade to see what he thought.
Hummingbird was settling in nicely. His wings flitting every now and then as he sank further into the cushions. He really liked this place. He layed his head on the arm of the couch. Ahhhhh, so comfy. A yawn forced its way out of him too. He shook his head a bit. His green hair covering one eye now. "I second the motion." he said with another yawn.
Grrrr... Both Zelos and Hummingbird's ears perked. What was that? Zelos glanced around til he was staring right at the yellow flutter. It took Hummingbird a few minutes to realize that the sound was his own stomach. Feeling foolish, he looked around at everyone, his ears flattening a bit, a sheepish grin on his face. "Uh...I guess I'm a little hungry..."

Pak looked curiously up at Zelos, his ears pricking. This was the second time he'd looked at Pak! Why? Was he funny-looking to the taller flutter pony, or something? He HOPED that wasn't the case, but then, why would he look? "I'll go find the blankets and pillows." He answered as he lept out of bed, some of the chirpy bounciness gone from his voice. Did they think he was weird, or silly? Did he say something wrong?!
"I will go find something to eat for you, if you don't mind greenery and fruit." Moondrop said softly, sliding out of his bed as well. He didn't want to leave Vio all alone with the pair, but he knew Vio would be able to handle himself if something came up; he didn't want Vio wandering out alone in the dark, either! "Will that be all right?"

Zelos didn't say anything as Pak left. For some reason he didn't want him to leave. And for some reason, the chipiness was gone. Had they done something wrong? He glanced at Hummer who watched the others leave, giving another yawn, his stomach grumbling a bit louder when there was mention of food. He tried to cover his tummy with his hooves in a vain attept to silence the grumbling.
Zelos watched the others, a bit unhappy at the moment. Was their rouse not working? He stayed silent, giving Hummingbird a look, not answering questions he didn't hear anyway.
Hummingbird heard them and he wondered why Zelos was acting weird. "Yeah, that will be great. Thank you." he said still looking at his friend. "What's the matter with you?" he whispered softly.
Zelos just gave a sigh, his ears flattening. He couldn't say anything while Vio was there.

Vio trotted around the room, shoving aside random pieces of furniture to make room for the new roommates. He glanced over at the pair when he finished shoving away the last chair, his wings fluttering softly. "Do you guys want to sleep in the same edge of the room, or apart? Our beds are hung up over in that corner, but I'm not sure if you guys want to be together too." He shrugged, dusting his front hooves off.
Pak returned while Vio was speaking, some of the bounciness slowly returning. If they didn't like him, well, fine then! Their loss! He was a cool little winger! He struggled with the large mound of blankets and pillows, and toppled over on top of them in the middle of the cleared space. "Oof! Think this'll be enough?" He asked Vio, patting the thick pile.
Moondrop, returning just then from his foray to find some food, giggled at Pak. "I think you could help the entire island bunk down!"
Pak grinned over at Moondrop, some of his self-consciousness evaporating, and he giggled as well. "Well, I didn't want their backs to hurt, since they'll be on the floor! This way, it'll be so thick you guys won't even feel it!" He said resolutely, turning to face the flutters.
Moondrop moved closer to the flutter ponies, and held out a small satchel to them, quite full with sweet-smelling fruits and leaves. "Here, I tried to gather a wide variety of what grows close to the clubhouse. I figure, even if you don't like all of it, you might like some?"

Zelos gave a sigh as the Wingers talked amoung themselves. He glanced at them out of the corner of his eye from time to time, his ears slightly perked, trying to hear the low whispers. Such distrustful little ponies. Of course, he, himself, was not too trusting of the situation. He really hated lying to these three, but it was necessary right now. He glanced at Hummingbird. Hopefully, his friend could keep it cool.
Hummingbird seemed a bit concerned. His body tensed a bit and his ears remained perked. Why were they whispering amoung themselves? He glanced at Zelos. He didn't seem worried. He gave a sigh. Gotta be calm. He layed his head down on the arm of the couch trying to keep from worrying. But his thoughts were far from being calm. Had they found out? If they found out, what would happen?
The voice of Pak jolted him out of his thoughts...thank goodness. "So! We've decided to help you get around! Where did you want to go first?"
Zelos let a smile curl his lips. The three were still in the dark. He looked over at Hummingbird who seemed relieved despite trying to hide that fact. "Where should we go?" Hummingbird asked, trying to appear fine.
Zelos settled back into his spot. "We'll deal with that in the morning after breakfast." he said quietly with a yawn, totally in control. At least one of them had to keep it together.

Pak's left ear dipped slightly at Zelos' quiet dismissal of his idea-- exploring was FUN!-- but decided that it wasn't meant as an insult, given that the sun was beginning to set on the little island. "Well, tomorrow it is then!" He chirped, hopping into his hammock, snuggling down into his "nest" with great pleasure. "Ahh, bed sweet bed!" He trilled, curling his body up under the blankets.
Vio and Moondrop did the same, having finished setting up the bedding for the two flutters. "I hope that's all right for you two." Moondrop said softly, glancing over at the flutters with some concern in his eyes. He may not trust them, but he still wanted them to be comfortable! He folded his wings, and cuddled down into the hammock, sighing softly in pleasure.
"Oh yes, certainly feel free to ask for anything you need." Vio added, tugging a blanket up around his shoulders. "Will you two be all right there?"

"Oh yes, certainly feel free to ask for anything you need." Vio added, tugging a blanket up around his shoulders. "Will you two be all right there?"
"Oh, this is gonna be great. Thanks." Zelos said to the wingers. He and Hummingbird jumped down to get all comfy in their little spot the wingers made for them. They quickly pushed and pulled everything into what they viewed as the most comfortable, arranging everything just the way each, as an individual, liked. Humingbird was the first to flop into the bedding. "Ahhhh." he said with a smile.
Zelos settled down in the blankets. "Ditto." he said as he laid his head down. "I can't believe how tired I am." he said with a yawn.
Hummingbird breathed steadily, lying on his side, his eyes barely open. "Mmmm, hmmm." was all he could force his voice to sa as his eyes finally closed. He was asleep.
Zelos glanced at his friend, through drooping eyelids, too. After all that had gone on, they hadn't realized how exhausted they really were. Quietly, the flutter began to join his friend on his way to dreamland. Still, he couldn't help but wonder if any others were alive after that. Could they have really survived that thing? He finally let his eyes close and let his body sink into his slumber. Tomorrow they would begin to find out about this place and maybe find the answers they seeked.

((Time skip! x3))
The night passed peacefully in the little tree-house, filled to the brim with delicately-winged little stallions. The sun arose high in the sky before the wingers woke up, nestled snugly in their bed.
Pak woke up first, silently peeking out at the other flutter ponies from underneath his thick blanket. He was so warm and cuddly, but that didn't stop him from being curious about the newcomers!! But since they were asleep, Pak was simply content to watch them sleep, wondering about what they were like, and where they came from. His two winged companions continued to sleep peacefully, snuggled beneath their blankets in the cozy room.

Inside the tree-house, Zelos and Hummingbird slept like rocks. It was so warm and comfortable but as the night began to pass their sleep began to be filled with dreams. At first, they were very old happy dreams about when the two first met in Flutter Valley. Then, their world went black. Both were standing on the Crimson Tide as the storm began to get worse. Zelos was in standing on the deck on the port side. He could see the mers surrounding the ship. They were going to attack!
Hummingbird stood on the lookout. He, too, could see the mers and they were mad. He froze for a moment. They couldn't take this ship down, could they?
Suddenly, a geyser of water shot up from the see and pushed a unicorn into the air. No, not a unicorn, a mericorn. She was saying something very low in tone, chanting. The mers seemed to disappear beneath the waves. Fish and dolphins broke the surface as if running from something, something really big. Hummingbird glided to the deck to join Zelos. They both surveyed the sea around them. Stangely, all was quiet. Only the chanting of the black mericorn was heard.
Splash! Thrusting it's green body out of the water, a huge dragon-like sea monster ripped into the ship as fast as lightning. Everyone was scrambling to save the ship, to kill the beast, but it was too strong. It let out a horrible, loud roar deafening the two flutter ponies. Another slash and the ship was broken in half, the body of the beast constricted around the ship. Hummingbird and Zelos were thrown into the deck as it splinterd from the force.
The monster leered at them. Another horrible roar and the beast lunged at them. It was trying to kill them. The mast cracked down on the two, trapping them. The yellow eyes of the beast growled, its knife-like teeth inches from the trapped flutters.
"Noooo!!!!!!!" Both flutters thrashed in their sleep forcing themselves awake. Panting, the two looked around. They were in the treehouse. A sigh escaped both of them. Their nightmare seemed so real. Hummingbird layed his head down again, relief on his face. Zelos had the same look, til he noticed Pak looking at them. He looked a little embarrassed. "Uh, good morning." he said as confident as he could.
Hummingbird's ears perked and he too noticed Pak looking at them. He could only muster a slight smile. Had he seen them having that nightmare?

Pak was disturbed as he watched the two struggle and sweat in their sleep, caught in a nightmare that seemed to be consuming them both. He carefully crawled out of his bed, dragging the heavy quilt along with him as he trotted over to the pair. Maybe he should wake them up...? Or weren't you supposed to let the dreamer wake up on their own...?
Pak ran out of time to decide what to do, as the pair woke up screaming. He flinched backwards, rearing onto his hind legs, and landed softly beside the pair, eyes wide. He blinked twice when he was addressed, and stared at the pair. "Areyouokay!?" He gasped, his eyes wide as he peeked out at them from under the blanket, alight in worry.
The other wingers abruptly sat up in their hammocks, kicking their blankets off in surprise.
"Who's screaming!?" Vio gasped, turning to eye the pair on the floor... and a CUCCOON MONSTER!! "Cuccoon monster!!!" Vio gasped, throwing his pillow at the blanketed lump.
"OW! That's me, Vio!" Pak yelled, knocked onto his belly by the force of the blow. He glared at Vio from under the blanket, rubbing his head.
"Sorry! Thought you were an intruder!"
"Actually, you thought he was a cuccoon monster..." Moondrop sighed, flopping back into the bed with exhaustion. "Go to bed!" He hissed, hiding under his blanket.

"Areyouokay!?" He gasped, his eyes wide as he peeked out at them from under the blanket, alight in worry.
Zelos tried to say something but was beaten to it by the other wingers waking quite suddenly.

Zelos and Hummingbird just watched the fiasco, they started, come to a close as everyone settled down. Boy did Zelos feel stupid and most of all embarrassed. He nearly scared the crap out of Pak. they were making a great impression on these wingers. Bravo!
Hummingbird had sat up from the commomtion, ready to fight only to realize it was a false alarm. Slowly, he sank back into his blankets. "Sorry everyone." he said quietly, hoping this would all be forgotten in the morning.
Zelos looked back at Pak. "Uh...we're fine. It was just....a ....uh ... nightmare or something." he stammered, feeling all the more ridiculous by the minute. "Uh, let's just do what Moondrop said. " he said quietly, sinking back into his blankets. "Just ignore us." he whispered, wanting to hide his head under a pillow. What kind of pirates act like them?! Honestly, they sure did cut an intimidating pair of stallions. Zelos rolled his eyes and lay his head on the pillow. Mayne it will be better in the morning.

Moondrop yawned, and rolled over in his bed. "No worries. See you in a couple -yawn!- hours." He murmured, snuggling down into his pillow.
Vio nodded, and curled up as well, watching the new flutter ponies curiously as he drifted off to sleep. Today was going to be exciting!! Just ... not as early, hopefully!
Pak blinked down at Zelos, tilting his head curiously to the side. "A nightmare? What about?" He asked gently, kneeling on the floor beside him, using his blanket to snuggle into while he watched the taller flutter.

Moondrop and Vio were easily able to go back to sleep. Good for them. Zelos glanced at his friend. Hummingbird was also rapidly falling asleep. He gave a sigh as he glanced back around the room. He was surprised to see Pak kneeling there next to him.
A nightmare? What about?" He asked gently, kneeling on the floor beside him, using his blanket to snuggle into while he watched the taller flutter.
Zelos froze for a second, then blinked at the winger. "Uh...yeah, a nightmare. I don't usually have them.." An ear perked at the second question, cutting him off. "Uh...it was just some flashbacks and stuff. We're ok." He gave a yawn too. It was much too early to try and explain himself. "You should go back to bed...uh..Pak." he said softly, feeling rather foolish. He tried to give him a reassuring smile but froze again looking into his eyes. A few minutes passed and Zelos caught himself. "uh...night." he said quietly, laying on his head quickly on his pillow. How embarrassing! What was wrong with him?

Pak couldn't help the small, unhappy expression that crossed his face as he listened to Zelos explain. Aww! He seemed much less scary than he had before! Poor flutter pony, nightmares were no fun!
"That's scary." He whispered, snuggling a little closer in his blanket, laying his head down on his forelegs. "I'll sleep next to you, to keep the bad dreams away. Legend says that brightly colored ponies scare off bad dreams!" He said cheerfully, smiling as he closed his eyes. "G'night, Zelos." He whispered again, yawning as he snuggled into his fluffy quilt.
